4th Of July!

For the 4th the park down the street from our house had a few activities going on so we went to go check it out, when we got there they had a few water slides that we didn't know about. So needless to say we didn't put Ava in her swimsuit or Grant, so when we got there this is what we saw. Grant was a good sport and took Ava down this slide fully dressed with Ava fully dressed. At the bottom of the water slide is a pool of water, so you end up getting soaked, which isn't to bad since it was 108° yesterday!! Yikes!

Here is the two of them afterwards soaked! And yep Ava insisted that they go again...and she didn't like the fact that they had to wait in line for the other kids to go she wanted to go imediately!

Before we left the park, Ava went and played in the park in the water where a bunch of holes shoot up water, she had lots of fun!

We ended the day going to downtown Henderson to watch the fireworks show. We got some pizza slices and and sat in front of a library and watched the show, it was a great show and a nice ending for our 4th of July!
