It was a Merry Little Christmas~

Posing with their jumbo pottery barn stockings!

Just getting into it.
He got a frying pan. Isn't that what every one year old wants?
Daddy bought him his first Tonka truck and first thing he did was sit in it. I might add he sat inside for a long time playing with other trucks. All boy!

After opening present time it was putting together the toys time! Princess vanity, oh yes!
Grandma and Grandpa's house for lunch.
Trying to get a cute picture. Trying.
We stayed in Vegas for Christmas this year and it was a super nice and relaxing day. Presents in the morning at our home and then to my parents for lunch and more presents. Then back to our house to eat our body weight in dessert! Ava was super fun this year too. She was WAY into opening presents rather than what they were. She later took inventory of the goods. Hope you had a Merry Christmas too. (All 3 of you who read this blog that is!) :)

Christmas Eve Night and a breakdown~

One quick picture? I think not.
Second attempt for a picture an even bigger failure~
Please, let me go to bed!
Okay big boy you can go to bed now.
So as you can see Cole had been "done" with the day. I thought we could take some cute pictures of the kids opening a present on Christmas Eve night.. I though wrong. To say Cole wanted to go bed bad would be an under statement. Cole went to bed and Ava opened a present and all was right with the world!

Out takes of our Christmas Card~

We went to Bellagio for our Christmas card pictures. The funny part is we had strangers take all our family ones and we chose from there. It was actually a lot of fun and we ended up with tons of pictures. The last one made the final cut to the Christmas card! Merry Christmas Eve everyone!

If We Were Millionaires~

We would shop at FAO Schwartz and not Target and Walmart for Christmas presents. Oh well, we have fun pretending!

Cookies, Cookies, and a Gingerbread Train~

Ava and I have been making lots of cookies together this December. And its really been so much fun she is such a fun age right now. And to be honest I have made some of the BEST cookies of my life with her! Crazy. Her and dad and her did a gingerbread train together and it turned out unbelievably great! I am glad daddy did that with her. I am thinking we are going to make homemade cinnamon rolls on Christmas Eve this year. We will see if they will turn out as yummy as my cookies have been.

Christmas Par-tay~

Our good friends throw an annual Christmas Party where Santa makes an extra stop before the big day. Ava couldn't have been happier when she saw Santa handing out presents to everyone! It was super fun and crazy with tons of kids. Ava is all about Santa and presents this year wanting everything on the commercials and the catalogs! Cole on the other hand is not so much a Santa fan right now.
