Not to far from our house is Bass Pro Shop, it's basically a huge outdoor sporting, hunting equipment type place. They have Santa and activities for kids threw December. So we thought it would be fun to take Ava this afternoon. Here we are in the line for Santa, you get a free picture with him! Well, Ava was not to fond of him but I did get the picture but I had to be in it with her. Oh well. Cole stayed out of our Santa picture this time, since he was happily asleep!
Here is Ava writing to Santa about what she would like for Christmas. Look at the concentration on her face!
The letter to Santa is done! I think she wrote in a secret writing that only Santa can read!
Dropping the letter off in his mailbox!
After the activities we all wondered around the store. Here is Ava driving me in a hunting type vehicle! This is her favorite thing to do at this store is "drive" the "cars" and AT V's! Good times!
My child won't sit on Santa's lap, but she will freely hug a scary cheetah! Seriously this cheetah was scary!!
Here she is hugging another animal, Grant and I weren't sure what this animal is... hmm. We just told her it was Santa's reindeer!
After the fun at Bass Pro we headed over to Bellagio to see the Christmas display at the atrium. It was beautiful as always. This is one of the things that is great about living here we can just drive over to the strip to check stuff like this out and not have to stay long.
Here are Ava and Cole at the atrium, Ava still does NOT like her brother to be on her, funny girl!
We headed outside of the Bellagio to try and catch the water show and we did end up seeing the end of one and hanging out for a while and we got to see another one! Another thing that never gets old is watching the dancing water!
Cole was not to excited about the water he just wanted to eat... no surprise there! We had a really fun day, hopefully more fun Christmas things to come this month, maybe the snow next weekend?
