Golf and Ducks

This evening we went across the street to where there is a golf course with a driving range and also duckies in a pond. We took Ava there to feed the duckies some bread. The ducks pretty much eat out of your hand, Ava loved feeding them. After we fed the ducks we went over to the driving range and sat on the grass across from it and watched daddy hit a few balls. There were cups and water by us, that kept Ava busy for a while going back and forth getting more water or making us get it for her. She would come back and sit on my lap and drink and spill the water all over both of us. Pretty soon she felt she needed to go join her daddy and get some golf lessons in.  It was kind of nice to take her out for a bit just the 3 of us, since tomorrow night she will be staying at grandma and grandpa's house and we will be at the hospital Thursday morning waiting for Cole to join our family!

Park Time

Last weekend we went to Town Square off the Vegas strip, it has lots of outdoor shopping, restaurants, and a movie theater and a really cute park! If you come to Vegas when it's not a million degrees I recommend  coming here! 

Ready For Cole..

I now have an official date of when Cole will be here!! I am scheduled to go into the hospital at 7:30 a.m. this Thursday. I am super excited, to have at least a date of when he will be here. Now he could always show up earlier since this isn't a c-section but just an induction, I am always saying everyday now I think today is the day, so many thing have been happening that make me think this is it, so who knows when he will come but it won't be later than this Thursday! Hooray! We are as ready as we can be for a newborn. Luckily Grant will be able to take off two weeks when Cole is born, this will help so much since this time we have a two year old to take care of too.  Here are a couple pictures of Cole's room all done, since I don't have super camera skills this is as good as it gets into a glimpse of his room. 

IHOP

This morning we met Tiffany and Chloe for breakfast at IHOP. We usually try and get together once a week, but it hasn't happened for a few weeks. We thought we better get together this morning since pretty soon we won't be doing it for a while, once Cole gets here. We had a super yummy breakfast of pumpkin pancakes, if you like pumpkin you have to go to IHOP and order these, they are so good, I know I am going to want these a lot now! 

Stocking Up..

This past weekend we headed over to Costco to do some bulk shopping so we can be stocked up with food for when Cole arrives. After this weekend we bought lost of food for the freezer and all the last minute things we needed for Cole and I. We even got a gift for Ava that will be from Cole when he is born. I have heard this helps, has anyone out there done this before? So, I must say we are ready now for you Cole, so go ahead and feel free to make an early appearance, your mom is done being pregnant. 

Dancer!

After a little shopping at Babies R Us this morning it was time to come home and do some dancing!! Ava loves to put on her "princess skirt", hat, and scarf, this is the dance gear! I can't wait till she turns 3 next year, I will have to enroll her in some dance classes just for fun! 

At Home..

Well, I haven't blogged for awhile since not much we have been doing is blog worthy. I am just still super pregnant and feeling not very motivated to get out of the house and do things like my usual self does. Cole's due date is October 7Th but I will have him at the latest the last few days of September or beginning of October through induction, unless he comes before that! This weekend we are going to go get some last minute stuff we need for Cole and myself and stock up at Costco on some grocery's. The picture on the left is Ava at home with her Minnie slippers which she just rediscovered and she actually wanted to pose for a picture but of course no smile. The other picture happened a couple of days ago at night, Ava was having a bedtime snack while Grant and I were watching TV on the coach and I looked over to see this, it was pretty funny for us to see, we have a kid that doesn't fall asleep in the car let alone at her high chair!  This is our life right now hanging out at home cleaning some, and playing!

The Toothless Weekend...

It took some convincing but Grant let me take a picture of him, only if he could make a super funny face. The story of his tooth missing is too long to blog about. The main part of the story is he is in the process of getting a dental implant, he went to the dentist on Friday and they pulled his tooth and stitched him up, they were supposed to have his temporary tooth ready but they messed up the order for it, so he has to go the whole weekend with a missing front tooth. It's been pretty funny to see him like this when he laughs, it's not something you can get used to!! We have been house bound pretty much all weekend, for a few reasons, obvious one he is missing his front tooth second one is he is not feeling good and keeping on the drugs. We did go to the grocery store for a few things he could eat this morning, but that's about it.   I told him I am for sure going to have to keep Cole inside until Monday I would hate to go into labor with a husband with out a tooth!! Thank goodness it's just a few more hours until Monday morning!

Long Morning...

Today was my weekly appointment at the doctor's office and poor Ava has to go with me. She is such a good girl and today was so hard on her the doctor was super behind on her appointments (she delivered 2 babies). I tried to take a couple of pictures of Ava in her new shirt my friend Denise bought her from Hawaii, but the pictures say it all, on how long we were waiting! Oh well, I love this doctor and totally don't mind waiting especially since she was only late because of delivering babies. The good news out of my long appointment this morning is that I was dilated!! Yay, hopefully I will be early, I am DONE being pregnant! 

Labor Day Swimming!

Last weekend on Grant's 3 day weekend, we just stayed home and did some errands. So, on Monday we thought we should take Ava to the pool, it's the last day of this pool to be open for the summer and it's our favorite! Here are a few pictures of our afternoon at the pool, this is the place where you can't have camera's. We had lots of fun and of course Ava loved jumping off the side into her daddy and riding on his back swimming around the pool area. Hopefully we will find another pool we like so we can take her at least a couple more times before Cole is born!
