Fun with Friends

On Friday we all braved the crowds and went to one of the outlet malls. It was pretty crazy busy this is the only picture I got, it was way too crazy to remember to take anymore that day. I did get my Christmas present early at Coach, so of course it was worth going!
On Saturday the guys stayed home with the kids and Sheryl and I went to lunch and to get pedicures. It was great getting to spend some girl time alone! Later that evening the guys went out to Sushi since neither Sheryl or I don't enjoy raw fish! 

On Sunday we all went back to the strip and ate at the Treasure Island buffet. Here is Ava enjoying her pizza!

After eating we went over to the Bellagio and took some Christmas pictures next to the displays. I think I can show you this picture since I don't think Dustin and Sheryl will use it as their Christmas picture since Ava had to be in it!

After the Bellagio we headed over to Caesar's to FAO Schwartz for Ava to look and play but as you can see the guys had some fun of their own there too!

And Cole enjoyed the FAO from his stroller cruising around! Thank you Dustin and Sheryl for coming out to hang out with us at Thanksgiving time! We had a great time with both of you! 

Untraditional Thanksgiving!

Our good friends Sheryl and Dustin came to visit us from Colorado for Thanksgiving. Instead of trying to cook dinner w/ a two year old and a 8 week old we decided it would be a lot easier to go to a buffet. We ended up going to the Plant Hollywood buffet, which is one of the better ones on the strip. 
While waiting in line Ava did a little slot playing!! She didn't win but had fun!
Here we are still killing time in line, which actually wasn't that long of a wait.
Cole wanted to get out of his car seat at dinner and try and get some turkey to eat, but instead he just had to enjoy some milk. 

Here is Sheryl trying to get Ava to eat some cotton candy, Ava thought she was crazy for eating what look to be a fluffy pillow. Sheryl showed Ava that the cotton candy disappeared in her water glass and that was very entertaining for along time. By the way I am sure Sheryl would want you to know she is 6 1/2 months pregnant in the picture, and that is why her belly looks big! :)
Ava really loved Dustin and prepared him for his future when his baby is two years old!

My Aunt Sheryl and Uncle Dustin sent me a super cool Laker's outfit!! How cute do I look in my team's outfit!! 
I was so excited I fell asleep on my daddy afterwards, the excitement was to much! Can't wait till you come to my house this week so I can thank you in person! See you Wednesday night I am sure I still will be awake since I hate sleeping at night!!

No Sleep!!

Okay so seriously, Cole does not sleep for more than two hours at a time and sometimes less! I have even started putting some rice cereal in his bottles thinking that the breast milk was just not enough for him, but no such luck so far but I will keep on trying. Am I the only one who has or has had a seven week old who is this bad at sleeping? Any suggestions would be great if you have any! Help! And did I also mention he is hungry all the time?? Yikes! Good thing he is super cute it does help! :)
This post was supposed to be just about me not sleeping but Ava wanted to be in it too! And I did have her dad leave work early today so I could go to bed, but that won't happen again since he really can't take time off, but I was just done today and needed some sleep!

Ono Grandparents!

Grandpa Gary and Grandma Jane came to visit and to meet Cole this weekend. They got here late on Friday night.
And Ava took to her Grandpa right away that night! She was cracking us all up, she was handing him her flash cards with her toes, and let me tell you she is obsessed with her flash cards!
To say the least I was not very good on my diet while they were here, this is at the Original Pancake House for breakfast, not exactly low points on Weight Watchers. As you can see Ava had to sit next to Grandpa and Grandma at breakfast!
Cole was super good at the restaurants, he pretty much slept the whole time and then would wake up to take a look around.
Grant and I enjoyed having Ava sit by them so we didn't have to tend to her the whole time while eating! 
As you can see Ava wore Grandpa out all weekend this is her taking a nap but Grandpa is the one that fell asleep! They left early this morning while Ava was still asleep and she woke up very sad to find they were gone! They are going to have to come back soon! 

Kidz Rule!

On Tuesday we went to a new place by our house called Kidz Rule. It was basically an indoor park. 
Ava and Chloe went up and down the stairs and down the slide a million times, well at least Ava did. Chloe went up and down but never went down the slide she wasn't too sure about the slide.
